Darkness Illuminated painfully with neon lights, a retro atmosphere of the 80s, this is the style of the works proposed by digital artist Cameron Burns based in Minneapolis, MN.
Armed with Cinema4D and Octane render, Cameron creates scenes that captivate us to the point of immersing ourselves in a story that we undoubtedly want to continue to the end.
Who am I?
My name is Cameron Burns, I’m 24. I’m a digital artist from Minneapolis, MN. I started a little less than a year ago. I have done an everyday personal design since the day I downloaded cinema4d.
Inspiration and tools…
I would say anything and everything. I’m really into sci-fi stuff as well as retro 80’s type stuff.
I take a lot of inspiration from movies as well. When I’m really spaced on ideas I head onto Pinterest and look around at stuff.
I currently use 2 computers with 1080tis to render the images.
I use cinema4d with Octane Render as well as Houdini, Daz 3d, Marvelous designer, Photoshop and Lightroom to name a few.

We work together
Why can your work be a source of inspiration for others?
I guess like I said anything and everything is an inspiration to people.
You can see something you like or looks cool and it’s fun to try and recreate it with your own twist.
I take a lot of inspiration from many artists myself…
